Hello People, I recently moved to a remote area where I couldnt get a 3G signal for my internet modem, I unlocked my mtn fastlink hoping I could use other networks but i keep getting the edge signal which is terribly slow, can anyone tell me what to do to get 3g or better still a fast network signal. |

cridbak:From the Option tab, Change your Network option to 3G only, If your chosen network has 3G in that area, your modem will detect it, you can also attached an antenna to your modem for better signal strength if the modem has such provision but in a situation where your network provider does not provide 3G network in your vicinity, I am afraid, there is lnothing you can do about it. |

Trendy_Topaz:Hey Trendy, All you have to do is to insert another sim other than the default sim to your modem and try to connect, the modem will prompt for the unlock code. Insert the given code and you are good to go! |
