Report flying all over the airspace has it that Mavins star, Reekado Banks fell into the arms of the Nigerian police over allegations of boycotting a contract that saw his account being graced with a whopping N2M performance fee.

The contract is said to have held in Benin City and was actually a wedding party where the singer was expected to grace the stage and render a couple of his “Gbedu wey dey burst brain.” However, the singer allegedly neglected the event after receiving the sum of two million naira as a performance fee. Consequently, the police were dragged in.

As of this moment, these rumors remain unconfirmed, as efforts to reach Reekado Bank’s management has proven futile. As a result, this claim is yet to be ascertained solid until further details on the incident are gathered from Reeky or his management. But then again, if reports on the airspace are anything to go by, then Reeky is indeed in police custody right now and fighting his way out, as well as working on refunding the money paid to him. We pray it doesn’t graduate to court.
