Many youths are embittered by their lives experiences. They are hardened, unforgiving and unmerciful. The painful experiences in life have washed away the beauty of faith and trust. Our young ladies are faced with so many fears leading them into temptation, the fear of getting married has been a leading fear of our ladies making them to commit fornication.

'Teenage pregnancy '
Teenage pregnancy has been recognized as a case for public concern with many even calling it an epidemic. It is viewed by most as a natural threat.

Some reviews conducted show that most youths are usually product of economically disadvantaged families and social environment as indicated by living in poverty and inadequate sex awareness programs. However, the teen pregnancy rate(which include live births, abortions and miscarriages) continue to rise during this period. Thus, teenage pregnancy is the real problem, not teenage birth rate.
Teenage pregnancy is considered a problem as a result of children raising children, teenage mothers are often unmarried and are ignorant of the fact that motherhood is associated with problems of children.

It's obvious that the true motivation behind public concern is to control teenage sexualty "pregnancy makes sex visible", it converts private behavior into public behavior.

As so many STIs(sexual transmitted infections) and HIV/AIDS are on high rate. STIs are infections passed from one infected person to another through sexual contact either genitally(vagina,penis), orally (through the mouth) or Anally (through the anus) eg syphilis,Gonorrhea etc
HIV: Human Immunodeficiency virus/AIDS: Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome ---it weakens the immune system and makes the body susceptible and unable to recover from other diseases. It spreads through sexual intercourse with an infected person, contact with blood of an infected person, using improperly sterilized instruments and infected mothers to their offsprings.

Watchword for the teens: Always work in developing life skill, believe in yourself and keep a healthy self esteem and above all in everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success, the things which are impossible for men are possible with God.
Sex is worth waiting for consequently, endeavor to wait patiently.
