They could be charged at home. But what if one runs out of charge while on the road or on a long journey? That's where these stations come in handy. as the range per charge improves, home charging becomes more effective and the queue/ jostle for charge stations lessen.

I doubt the technological future lays in electrical vehicles. It is not a technological breakthrough if critically assessed. The motive for electrical vehicles is CO2 emission reduction, but ironically tonnes of CO2 are emitted in the production of the batteries.

u think so? oil is still going to be useful for a long time to come. do u know how many sub industries that run on oil or bye product. it will only loss relevance with cars and similar products.
