A pastor has reportedly drowned while baptising his church members in the river at Blood River village in Seshego, an outskirt of Polokwane in South Africa.

According to South African reports, the unsuspecting pastor was swept away by the tide as he plunged into the flooded river. The church members who were about to be baptised, were left reeling from shock as they watched helplessly as the pastor was whisked away by the tide. The body of the deceased pastor was later recovered by the police.
