Dumb soldier! he was supposed to be in the barracks waiting for when war breaks out instead he was following a prostitute around in the car, if he was in the barracks doing his duties he would still be alive today, he probarbly though he was invincible,

all these so called celebrities who hire the services of soldiers in other to protect them, well.. this soldier didn't do a good job protecting himself let alone some one else.

your point is good, it's just that the oak or plant isn't aware of anything. There's no perception of self in them but this is not the case with humans and some higher animals, so humans have knowledge which brings sorrow, and the more knowledgeable we are, the more mysterious life seems to be.
