I have read with keen interest on the various calls for the removal of the INEC boss, Prof. Iwu. Unfortunately, virtually no one reasons that Iwu might have performed better if it were to be any of our so-called Progressives. Elected beneficiaries of Iwu's 'evil' are now calling for his head.
Gov. Lamido just said all elected officers given certificate of return by Iwu should be honourable enough to vacate their offices if Iwu were to be fired for non-performance. Unpopular political prostitutes give any available reason to discredit Iwu. Why? Nairalanders, on what basis should Iwu be removed?
Must he go for executing a floored electoral laws? Is Iwu guilty of non-internal democracy among our political parties? Do we hold that Iwu supported the used of thugs in electioneering and elections? Betterstill, can we celebrate Iwu for conducting the most contested elections in Nigeria?
