According to the news report, the woman identified as Lauren Stuart, 45, fatally shot her husband and adult children in a murder-suicide last week at their Keego Harbor home.
Following a 911 call by a concerned relative, police arrived at the house Friday morning to find the bodies of the woman, husband Daniel Stuart, 47; son Steven Stuart, 27; and daughter Bethany Stuart, 24.
Friends said they believe the 45-year-old mom was driven to kill after she was shunned by the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the religion she was raised practicing, according to the Detroit Free Press.

There are many people who committed suicide due to the Isolation this religion promotes. Once you disagree with their doctrines and leave the Cult, you are isolated immediately. I am glad you did not refute what God said in the 1st Corinthians I quoted. I take it you agree with God that a Christian should not pall around with those who claim to be their brothers/sisters and who engage in what God described in that 1st Corinthians. So it is the duty of a Christian to "shun" such persons. It is not the poison dished out by the so called eight in NY, as stated by the OP.

Your silence shows that you are in agreement with that one, right? When the truth is pointed out to you, you owe yourself a responsibility to acknowledge that truth. That way, you make that truth your own and ensure that you repudiate the associated falsehood wherever else it arises. So, start by acknowledging the truth of what God stated in the scriptures first, before you raise additional accusations. Or do you want to state as your opinion ( without any evidence) that the command in 1st Corinthians has been doctored?

Secondly, I am not a peddler. If you want to have a constructive conversation ( not proud shouting match of "my voice is bigger than yours" ), raise an issue where you think JW has misinterpreted the scripture or twisted it as you have accused them of doing without proffering evidence. State which verse and chapter they've twisted in their bible. State the name of that their "special" bible. Then quote the same scripture from another bible that you trust. Then we can have a respectful conversation.

Repeating fallacies and hearsay is different from undertaking a diligent, disciplined study and arriving at your own independent conclusions.

To be a truth speaker, as your handle suggests, you have to first be ready and willing to make out time to research the truth. You also need to be someone who is open to acknowledge the truth when he sees it.

You consciously did not acknowledge the truth you saw in that 1st Corinthians, because it did not fit into your narrative. Instead, you went after another fallacy and lie because you did not have a valid response to the truth you saw. God is not about which church you go to or which pastor(or "man of god" ) you make your god. God is about truth and truth is based on facts. That is no way to be a truth seeker let alone truth speaker. A truth speaker follows the facts regardless of where it leads and he/she acknowledges it when it stares him in the face and is happy and willing to change their views based on the truth.

When you think you are that person, then we can have a respectful conversation.
