To highlight

- Dancing, sensualness, adultury, homos, & alcohol are not allowed on campus. 

- In campus activities where males & females are present a chaperon must be present and if students date off campus a chaperon must be present as well.

- Students may work in town until 10:25 pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends. Freshmen must have a prayer captain, assistant prayer captain, or upperclassman with them. Sophomores & upperclassmen may work alone.

- Freshmen & sophomores may not use their vehicles to go to @ from work.

- Students may not serve alcoholic beverages when waiting tables @ restaurants.

- Abercrombie & Fitch & its subsidiary Hollister have shown an unusual degree of antagonism to the name of Christ and an unusual display of wickedness in their promotions. In protest, we will not allow articles displaying their logos to be worn, carried, or displayed (even if covered or masked in some way).

Highlights --

- A student must live in one of the University residence halls unless he is living with parents or is 23-years-old or older, is married & over the age of 20, or is a graduate student.

- For the sake of accountability, students must "check out" when they leave the campus.

- Students are required to be in their own rooms & quiet @ 11 pm. All lights must be out by midnight.

- Rooms are inspected daily.

- Posters of movie & music stars and fashion models are not permitted.

- New Age, jazz, rock, & country music are not permitted.

- Televisions & DVD/videocassette players are not permitted in the residence halls. Computer DVD players may not be used to view movies

- Residence hall students may not watch videos above a G rating when visiting homes in town & may not attend movie theaters.





This is how the Christian right would have you live, if they could have their way. That being said, I'm a Christian, but not an extreme Conservative.

And you know what the funny part about it is, BJ University isn't even accredited. Basically, there is no one that monitors their academic standards to make sure that the degrees they grant actually mean something. You're not going to get a solid education in many fields at BJU. No one reviews their programs to make sure they're up to any sort of standards.  Their biology department teaches creation science. Where is an education in that sort of biology "science" going to get you in the real world?

My friend attended Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma and it sounds similar.
