It is becoming glaring that two candidates, Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji Abubakar Atiku are dazzling the cyberspace by coming on and on in the news and it is no brainer that Alhaji Atiku may be the likely candidate of PDP at the 2019 Presidential polls having being in the game for over 24 years and hence he is more like a household name in Nigeria and on the other hand is the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari who is still testing the waters but from all feelers, he is definitely going to contest as the ruling party, APC's candidate at the 2019 polls

We all are warming up to vote our consciences and if the time comes and we are left with these two which is likely because head or tail, the two party system has come to stay in Nigeria and they are APC and PDP. So Nairalanders over to you......"Likes for Atiku" and "Share for Buhari"!

Cc: Seun, Lalasticlala please we are in election season kindly push this to the front page

Save your quest for likes! Unfortunately Buhari will win again, listen as i tell you why?

I don’t support Buhari before you get mad over nothing تبنينينميمى ميمينديز ينيمينيم يهب ضً

1. His base is strong and politically alert. The northerners (adults, children and foreigners who will vote Buhari have given him his 14m. And they love to vote even for a plate of kunu.

2. His base is spread around the country. The Yorubas (who lack a mind of their own) will only vote as Tinubu tells them. With a lot against him Tinubu has no choice but to support Buhari. The hordes of Hausas in the Southwest will ensure that he gets his required 25%.

3. One year to elections there is no viable candidate from APC or the opposition. As it stands now it’s already too late to get one who will
Pose a threat to Buhari.

4. Now this is where it gets interesting- INEC will ensure that the card readers don’t work in the North and the alternative will be used. In the south, there is a well established plan to frustrate voters. Stay alert for updates from INEC between June and August 2018.

5. BBNAIJA will air around the time of the elections. Our youth will be busy watching porn while their future is carted away.

6. Lagos, Oyo, Ekiti, Rivers, IMO, Bayelsa and Cross River will experience violent uprisings from September. MEND (APC) will be used to create instability leading to military intervention in Delta and Akwa Ibom states.

7. As a fallout of the national outcry after the elections the army will move to quell the situation. Southern military officers will leave and expose many state secrets including the events of September 2017 (Nnamdi Kanu’s abduction). Osibanjo will resign less than two months after.

Save these facts. I have never been proven wrong.

Most times it pissed me off when I see youths reasoning this way and still forming analyst. You must understand that this time around many factors are working against Buhari like it worked against Jonathan in 2015. Buhari's popularity even in the north keeps dropping everyday, he is contesting against a fellow northerner this time around which will affect his usual bulk votes of 12 million, remember this was how he lost more than 6 million votes when he contested against a fellow Northerner, Yar'adua in 2007, compared to his usual 12 million+ votes he had in 2003 when he slugged it out with a Southerner, Olusegun Obasanjo. The strategy is, use a fellow Northerner that is strong against Buhari in 2019 and that is all, not talking of his rudderless and autocratic style of governance on one side mind you. Stop this unnecessary analyses bro, the only option available to Buhari now is rigging and he will destroy himself if he tries that. Regarding your schemed skirmishes being planned in those aforementioned states I think with some smart politicians now at the helms of affairs of PDP like Secondus, Wike, Fayose, and many more, I don't see that working. 2019 will be very interesting definitely not for Buhari.

Which weight did Atiku pull when he contested the presidency in 2007?

Am not sure he even won his own state Adamawa in that election

Atiku 'll win .atiku is also popular in the North with Yoruba vice he 'll div de the votes in the North n West . North central 'll not vote for Buhari this time . SE/ss 'll overwhelmingly vote against Buhari and that 'll be a decider .

Buhari won in 2015 because he ran against weak southern candidate . With a strong northern candidate Buhari 'll lose given his poor health condition North 'll not want a president that 'll die in office like Yaradua n a southerner 'll take over like Jonathan did .

You must understand that 2007 was not a right time to contest but being a strong willed fellow who believed in his capability choose to run under a Yoruba party, AC against a National party, PDP, and let me tell you despite polling almost 3 million votes the results was not a true reflection of what truly transpires. The answer to your confusion is supplied here; https://www.nairaland.com/4320919/projected-atikus-masterstroke-statistical-analyses
