MY07 MINI Cooper s. Was working beautifully, tip-top shape, runs like a raped ape. Suddenly went down in power while on the freeway. Pulled over and noticed that it was idling rough, owners sphincter slams shut. Limped off to a gas station, opened the hood. No odor, no oil leaks, radiator level seems okay. What's next? |

Yep, P0302. I've never been happier to see a code in my life So limp, we limped to PepBoys and I got a new coil for $40. Off to work I went. Are modern cars not the best things to happen to car guys? If this happened on a pre OBD car I would be dead in the water because one coil will serve all the cylinders. No limping about. Pic #1 Permanently mounted ScanGauge, provides gauges to various sensors in the car (the MINI doesn't have a water temperature gauge). Pic #2 Is Nigels engine bay Pic #3 Is the old coil
