A female banker attached to one of the new generation banks along market road, Ughelli, Delta State has committed suicide over her husband’s alleged infidelity. The banker, Mrs. Peace Uzezi Akpobaro, 32 and mother of two, was founded dead at her Iwhrekpokpor road residence in Ughelli, Delta State. Sources in the area said husband to the late Mrs Akpobaro had brought home his mistress to be staying with them under one roof, a situation that was said made her took her life. A neighbour at the residence who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “An empty can of Sniper and Fanta was found by her lifeless body which was discovered in the house.” Confirming the incident, a senior police officer attached to the Ughelli ‘B’ Division police station, Agbarha-Otor, explained that her corpse has since been deposited at the morgue of a private mortuary. He said: “We believe she returned home from work on that unfaithful day and ingested the mixture, but investigations into the matter is still ongoing.”

BY DYING ALONE SHE HAS GIVEN THE MAN EXCESS ROOM TO FLEX ON.

I WOULD PITY HER BUT SHE'S NOT A WISE WOMAN.

A WISE WOMAN WOULD KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS THAT SHE KILLS BOTH HERSELF AND THE MAN. undecided

Smh.because of a worthless man that has zero value for you?

Hmmnnn I'm not here to blame ,judge or cast aspersions but before you come here to form judge

1.marital depression is real
2.Nigerian marriages ARE very stressful on both partners were society has certain expectations of how a wife should behave, dress, act or be a mother.there are unsolicited advisers and in-laws ready to police you to keep you in line with their cultural idiosyncrasies
3.once you have children your body doesn't remain the same especially your v@jyna hence your husband doesn't see you in the same light even if he married beyonce.infact things change in the house, why? Because you have already fulfilled WHY YOU WERE MARRIED IN THE FIRST PLACE.pampering treatment is over (argue with me and press your phone till your hands break but that's the stark naked truth)
4.Nigerian men marry for children and to continue their generation.the secondary reasons is for somebody to be at home taking care of the children, while Nigerian women marry for love,to obey society,to impress friends and family hence they enter with the assumption that it's all romance, fun, sex and all the mushiness till the nigerian man in him comes out after a stressful day at work and beating road traffic to reach home or he hasn't been paid salary

Therefore when her fantasy expectations or what her pastor promised her of everlasting happiness once she gets married fails, depression sets in.btw I'm sorry for those still taking advice from adulterous and domestically abusive Nigerian pastors WHO come to the pulpit to form saints and tell YOU what you want to hear

Pastor and your society deceived you that after marriage you become a woman?

You will have ALL the sex you want and be tired of it? grin. (If that is the case why are there sex starved married women everywhere or adulterous men and women)

Even the pastor giving you marriage counseling do you know what HE is doing to his wife

Uncle suleiman ,broda oyakilome etc come to mind

Learn to decipher the difference between telemundo and being married to a Nigerian man.the 2 do not reconcile at ALL.Nigerian men ARE very logical and do things with motives.if he buys you stuffs it's with motives the sleeps with you,it's for a purpose.if he stops then he's tired of YOU.

The earlier you come to terms with the fact that there's no guarantee in marriage the better for you .if you like give him your hymen, your kidney ,eyes, brain or anything you like,if he wants to cheat, nothing will stop him so YOU better start having a more realistic view of getting married to a Nigerian man or otherwise
