Watch Stephen Hawking Get Exalted to Sainthood

When renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking died yesterday, I posted a link to a secular news article on my Facebook page. It was big news and, of course, very sad. On the top of the news item I put another link, to one of our free films that have been seen by millions. It just said: EvolutionvsGod.com

Nothing else was stated.

To my surprise, my page was flooded with angry atheists, who were abusing me with comments that would make a cat's tail curl. It was as though I had blasphemed their holy prophet. To these believers, every word uttered by Hawking was divine.

He seemed like a nice person, but I'm not among his believers. I don't believe that we all need to go live in space to get away from the problems that plague the human race. This is because we would take the problems with us. We are the problem. Wars, rape, hatred, greed, adultery, murder, abortion, and mass shootings wouldn't happen if human beings didn't exist.

It's an irony that atheists are upset about anyone's death. According to their beliefs, Stephen Hawking was just an animal. He had no more worth than a dog. They believe (as he did) that overpopulation is a problem, and his death made room for other animals. His life had no purpose, rhyme or reason. He was just a tiny insignificant speck in the universe. Atheism at best is heartless and cruel.

However, as a Christian, I believe Stephen Hawking had great worth. He was given life by God, made in His image, given the blessings of a free country, a loving family, eyes that could see, ears that could hear, a good brain, and the ability to enjoy good food and listen to good music. On top of this, he had fame and fortune, and no doubt this gave him the ability to take care of those he loved after his passing. His books will now take off even more, and his crazy ideas about living on Mars will be seen as a divine and guiding light in a forever darkening world.

On top of all those blessings, Mr. Hawking could have availed himself of God's universal offer of everlasting life. The word "whoever," when it comes to eternal salvation, means just that. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Well, I've done it. I have "blasphemed" once again in the atheists' eyes. I did a similar thing with the founder of their religion. Charles Darwin's dry-as-dust writings have also been deified; I know because when I gave away 200,000 copies of his book to 100 universities across the US, I was vilified. I had greatly sinned by adding a fifty-page introduction to their holy book. If you want to see a lock of Darwin's hair, you can parade by it with the faithful at a museum in England.

Stephen Hawking dead? It may be wise to set a guard at his tomb.
