*Dr Sharof:* Lying on one’s stomach! *We know that it is from the detested forms of sleeping to lie on our stomachs, so we must not lie on our stomachs.* There is no harm if you lie down on your right side. That is the Sunnah, and you should also face al-Qiblah. There is no harm if you lie down on your left side after you have slept off or if you turn around while sleeping. And there is no harm in facing up while sleeping, but it is not permissible to lie on your stomach while sleeping. This is hated by Allaah. *The Prophet (sollaLloohu ‘alayhi wa sallam) saw a person (lying on his stomach), he prodded him with his foot and woke him up because it is a way of lying that Allaah hates.* For this reason, you should not lie on your stomach.

So a student says he wants to read, and he says he will be very convenient lying on his stomach. A student in the Madrasah says he wants to read and he says he will be very convenient lying on his stomach. It is not good. *Do not be similar in appearance to as-Shaytoon. Sit down to read; you will comprehend it or you should lie down on your side.*
