I would like to take a survey to see if business exchange is something that is practicable in Nigeria.

Business Exchange is a situation where business ownership exchange hands. The businesses I'm referring to are brick and mortal businesses with structured models that generate revenue and cashflow. Business Exchange (BizEx) has become a norm in the advanced countries such as the US, UK, SA, Canada, and many parts of European countries.

Business Exchange is when a business owner decides to sell his/her business to an investor whether partially or on a full sale. It helps to create entrepreneurial culture in people and help companies that would have died off to stay relevant and become a large company.
This form of wealth creation helps to improve the GDP of a nation by promoting the SME sector and there by improving the economy.

Buying an existing business has many advantages. Among which are; instant access to cashflow to work with, proven business model, ready-made market, trusted employees etc. All these help you to be able to determine your profit at the point of taking over the business.

This model is relatively new in Nigeria and would like to take a survey of people's opinion about it practicability in Nigeria.

Now, the question is

1. As an aspiring business owner, would you at some point open to selling your business; whether fully or partially? (Sell side)
2. Would you prefer to buy an existing business or start from scratch? (Buy side)

In short, would you embrace; buying an existing business or start from scratch?
