From the famous parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man, wherein the rich man did not seem to have fulfilled a moral obligation to cater for the poor and needy namely: Lazarus. And a reversal of roles in the afterlife, the rich man was languishing in Hell seeking for relief from Lazarus and the patriarch Abraham. Thinking of this, is anyone aware of any church that preaches on compulsory generosity? |
