You wouldn't blame him ,because if CR7 where to be in his shoes he will make the same boast .But come to think of it.Messi has scored a total of 630 and Ronaldo 663 carrier goals which is barely half of what Pele scored with three(3) World cup to show for it.Age don't seems to be on both side which makes it almost impossible for them to get to that goal tally(1281)

Probably because technology was not so wonderful at Pele's time it is difficult to appreciate greatly his wonderful strides.But,he is truely a football legend of all time.
