Follow the steps below to know and stop the app consuming so much of your data.

How to locate the app;

Power on your android phone and go to "setting"

Click on[b] "Data Usage"[/b] and select the specific network you use for internet.(Example mine is Airtel NG)

Here you will see the app consuming your data. Like mine in the above image it's my tethering & portable hotspot then follow by facebook and[b] chrome[/b]

Now you know the particular app consuming your data so how do you stop them.Follow the steps below.

How to stop the apps from consuming more data:

Click on the app you want to stop

Click on the box beside the "Restrict Background Data"

This will stop the excess consumption of data on your android phone.You can stop other app too with the same method.
