A civil rights activist based in the Dublin Ireland, Rahila Adamu Bose has taken to social media to share pictures of Fulani men moving around freely in broad daylight with AK-47 rifles. In her post which was accompanied by pictures of armed men refuelling their motorbikes at a filling station she said,

"In Zamfara state, people carry weapons freely in broad daylight and kill with impunity and all the governor could do is to condemn as if Nigeria is UK, how can the man prove he has nothing to do with what is happening in the state? May Allah destroy whoever has a hand in all the killings happening in Zamfara Amin".

My question is does our law permit this men to carry such kind of sophisticated arms for any reason at all?

Why will our security agencies allow these people to openly carry sophisticated arms ?

We really need answers to these questions if we are sincere about restoring peace and security in this country
