Tuesday Chapel Service for students from 300 level to 500 level students took an unexpected twist today as almost a thousand male students had to part with their hair.


The inspection exercise headed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Timothy Anake was described as largely insensitive and not well thought as many of the affected students had final year project defense today.

Some people made humor of this encounter describing Covenant University students as reverse avatars. Some even claimed that the red sea Moses parted now lies on the head of CU student. Some even made a parody of the university vision calling it Vision Bald 2022

This happened as a result of the chancellor’s annoyance at the just concluded Easter youth alive camp where students were not in possession of hard copy bibles — meanwhile digital bibles were allowed.
