Fight is ongoing in Jalingo by the youths of Kona tribe over the sale of lands to outsiders by the government.
From the questions I asked some of the protesters who were already destroying shops and burning tyres, I gathered that the government has been selling the natives' lands to churches and even Muslims and it is enough. Another person said that today marks this lingering case ten (10) years in the law court and that is why they are out to protest and let the worst happen.
