EXHORTATION

You Cannot Have a Heart for God and not Have Time for Him

Yesterday, we were told that each persons time will pass but the record of how you spent your time will always be there

You shall leave a very good record/account in Jesus name.

The Church is a body with different parts and roles. You have to identify and play your role effectively

Today, we are talking about Nehemiah

Nehemiah 1:3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach:

the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

In Nehemiah's time, many other people saw what was going wrong in Jerusalem but only Nehemiah took action

The ruins of Jerusalem put a burden in his heart and that made him go on a fast and prayer session

Just like many of us are burdened about the growth of the kingdom of God(the Church) today

Nehemiah asked God for a favour in prayers, and God granted him; the king granted him all his requests

Nehemiah showed absolute commitment to kingdom service

In God's Kingdom, nothing comes easy, it must take something out of you- commitment, time, effort, resources, etc

We must have time for God by always praying Kingdom advancement prayers

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door,

pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

When you serve God he transforms your life. God is not a user of men but a rewarder of men

Don't get tired of service, have faith in God, the rewarder

Matthew 6:18 ... and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

You can't have time for God without making great impacts on earth

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;

but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest OBSERVE TO DO according to all that is written therein:

for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Let the word of God show you what God expects you to do next and this shall lead to your glorious destiny

Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT;

3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with ALL THE FULNESS OF GOD.

As you serve God doggedly, you are launched into the realm of the above scriptures
