Popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Aigbe has been playing the role of a partial judge in the ongoing Cussons baby competition. The mother of two has allegedly been using her influence to push her own candidate ahead of others.

The movie star was selected alongside, Mai Atafo and Yetunde Babaeko as the judge for this year edition and ever since she accepted the mantle has been openly throwing her support for baby Yassir, the son of her makeup artiste.

Mothers and other concerned parents have trooped to the page to call out the organizers and Mercy over this unprofessional conduct of favoritism and exploitation but they have been getting blocked and disqualified for it.

This has led to accusation that the contest is about connections, because one of the judges, Mercy now has her own candidate on the show

Other participants have started taking various measures to ensure that the organizers immediately eject Mercy as a judge to preserve the integrity of the competition. Mercy and Cussons are yet to address these allegations.
