Google understands the challenges of having a slow mobile, hence, the reason for applications like Files Go and YouTube Go, but they are not stopping at that! Google has officially launched Google Go into the Nigeria market —an app that provides a lighter, faster, way to search, with everything you need just a tap away .
The aim is to handle the challenges preventing people from getting the most out of the internet such as weak data connectivity, high data costs, and low RAM or storage space.
You can easily search for any info and at the same time see what's trending in your country with google go, there is also a discovery widget that allows you to access your favorite apps and websites with just one tap.
As said earlier, this app was developed to work with even the slowest of internet —even in data-saving mode or on 2G connections—to put that into perspective, Google says, the app uses up to 40% less data to display search results. There is also the fact that the search results are cached on your device so you can quickly re-access previous searches, even when you are offline.
