For treatment, buy thick powder remover from a Vet store. for prevention, keep them clean always and away from dirty environment

wen i got my first dog in 2004 i t was a local/gsd mix, from a dirty vasinity... d first time i bath it i was shocked at d amount of tiny ticks flowing out its body, at first i thought they were dirt.. for that reason i bathe him 1ce a week for dat first month then 1ce every other month... n i can tell you d dog didn't grow with tick... i used warm water, )hot but not too hot,), mixed a generous amount of detol in the water, every morning i mopped the dog's area with detol as well, and i used a lil bit of mixed detol water wen ever i clean d poop...

An ounce of prevention, they say, is worth a pound of cure...in other words, prevention is always better than cure!
