Because he said so? I don't think he's telling the truth. Moreover he was a member of the House of Representatives before becoming senator. So he could have gotten the cars by then but then it is still likely money for constituency projects he used.

bros, even at 8 years as house of rep member(13 million monthly), he cant still afford those cars. one or two of those cars worth #600 million, not to talk of all

Nice Cars he has there. The senate house is a shrine for money laundry. I believe he is either in a police custody now or in the hospital following his arrest and self inflicted injury.
