Mark 8:27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? 8:28 And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets. 8:29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?..... And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ. This was Peters personal information, revelations granted to Peter alone which he communicated to the audience and to the master of it all, Jesus Christ. Now, to you who says I am a Christian,a fellower of Christ, a disciple of Jesus. Are you sure you know the God and man you claim you are following?? This is the challenge! We are encouraged in the scriptures of the prophets to grow in grace and in the knowledge of God Almighty and of CHRIST JESUS. The scriptures asking you to upgrade from one level of glory to a higher level and from one degree of faith to a higher version. 2 Corinthians 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, when you turn to Jesus Christ to help you comprehend the scriptures of the prophets the Vail will be taken away from your eyes of understanding. The vail shall be taken away. 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD. Those who have gone up to see him and his glory are transformed by the renewing of their mentality. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. To know who is the person you scream his name every Sunday and here and there, will practically change you into someone you haven't imagined, don't know, not aware and exciting experience which so satisfying and contentment. To give you a preview Colossians 1:13 God Almighty who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 1:15JESUS CHRIST Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; |
