50% of superstitions are 100% real, 20% of superstitions are 60% real, 30% of superstitions are fallacy. Science might disapprove of it but note that science cannot prove 50% of events on and off earth, science even disapproved God's manner of earth's creation in the bible's book of genesis, science even disapproved the supreme being called God. Science doesnt believe in SPIRIT but the truth remains that the world experiences more spiritual happenings than what the eyes can behold(physical).
Some Christian denominational doctrines are borne out of IGNORANCE, some christian denominations propound a doctrine out of SELF-DECEPTION, while other denominational doctrines hide some truth for your own spiritual good, perhaps because the information may overwhelm you physically and spiritually and throw your whole being off-balance. Thus, some christian doctrines disapprove of SOME superstitions.
Some things remain the truth and at the same time a mystery, so does some superstitions. Some things are understood because of experience and explanation, some are understood because of your level of spirituality, and some things can never be understood.
