Being confident means being aware of your achievements and full potentials without waiting for others to tell you who you are or all you are capable of. However, no matter how confident you are, the compliments of others especially those close to you matter. There are days that you might feel unsure or weak and someone says something nice and that somehow lifts your spirit.

Blushing when someone says something nice to you is not a sign of weakness, the human nature is one that values being seen and appreciated. Some women admit that they find a compliment more endearing when it comes from a fellow woman; some believe in that because they have the belief that a compliment coming from a fellow woman is a bit more pure and genuine.
