https://www.notebookcheck.net/Canalys-Samsung-dominates-African-smartphone-market-Tecno-in-second.303552.0.html according to notebookcheck post Samsung as a single company has the lead but transsion as a combination of itel,infinix and techno are technically number one with their combined estimated shipped smartphone.I think this report only takes into consideration phones sold locally in Africa without estimating for things like phones imported into the country so phones from oneplus,xiaomi,google probably weren't counted and even if they had been, would they come close to the top five of samsung,tecno,huawei,infinix and itel?
