Wedding menu is one of the most difficult decisions to make for any couple. There is always a lot of back and forth with the caterers on what else to serve to guests apart from Jolly rice (of course, you already know jolly is a must). Here are other cost effective side dishes you can try.
These are the lifesavers at any happening Owambe. Please note that they are not cheap. They can be affordable if you find an affordable caterer.

Good food, great MC, fantastic band and conducive atmosphere are the basics for an amazing wedding reception. While we know party jolly is almost inevitable, selecting an interesting appetiser menu that won’t break the bank can definitely be a challenge.

Here are 5 affordable finger foods you can explore.
1. Spring Rolls
Serve spring rolls, samosa and any other side dish you’ll like to serve together in a plate or two per table depending on the number of people per table and how big the plate is.

2. Puff Puff
This is everybody’s favourite in any “small chops” pack and the cheapest to make. The trick is to serve it hot so people can eat a lot of it and be full before you serve the Main dish.

3. Samosa
A samosa is a fried or baked dish with a savoury filling, such as spiced potatoes, onions, peas, lentils, macaroni, noodles, cheese,

4. Mosa
Plantain Mosa is overripe plantains mashed and mixed with other ingredients then deep-fried in vegetable oil. It’s a staple in every Nigerian wedding these days.

5. Asun
It is barbecued goat meat with lots of pepper. You can size a plate per table not individually to save cost.
