Issafela:
Two members of a Nigerian organised crime group who committed more than a million pounds worth of fraud and money laundering have been jailed in the U.K.

Emmanuel Mmaduike and Olawale Kashimawo, each 31, spent the cash on a lavish lifestyle. The pair hired helicopters, drove flashy vehicles and posted pictures of themselves with wads of cash, costly watches and consuming champagne.

They ran their scams from southeast London after acquiring hundreds of enterprise email addresses and passwords – which they used to divert funds away from official firms to themselves.

Mmaduike’s role was to access the victim’s e mail accounts and alter invoices in order for funds to be directed to mule financial institution accounts run by Kashimawo.

Kashimawo then laundered the money by arranging withdrawals and international transfers by other fraudsters. The pair are believed to have carried out more than £1m of fraud and money laundering between April 2015 and November 2015.

Mmaduike was jailed for six years and 10 months after he admitted money laundering and fraud. His accomplice, Kashimawo was jailed for six years and nine months after admitting two counts of conspiracy to commit money laundering.

We are in trouble.

The Yoruba's and Ibo's never agree on anything. For them to agree to be criminals together, means there is trouble in paradise.

The one on the car should be the Yoruba, and of course the IBO man will always be the one holding the CASH.

Yoruba-Igbo Amaka.

Throwback:

The typical way of life of lazy economic heroes.

Maybe they will give the same Nigerian excuse that there is no job in the UK and that the politicians are corrupt, that is why they too had to embrace crime.

When will the lazy Nigerian youth start consuming champagne with their own hard earned money?

I stand to be corrected, even the working class Nigerians who love to spend their after work evenings frolicking from one bar or club to the next, are mostly engaged in shady dealings that rob their employing company or clients of money. They are not spending their own earned money at all.

A thief once stole over N10m from his company by selling goods without depositing the proceeds of sales, and promptly relocated his family to the USA.

Before the company could discover, Jinadu don dis-farahan.

Many sales reps and even sales managers in Nigeria working for engineering firms, are outright criminals who deal with their corrupt procurement counterparts in the buying companies or government, to inflate the prices of equipment.

Funny thing is, this working class criminals are the ones who complain the most that Nigeria is a useless country. Maybe they are right, because a useful country would have ensured that with a working legal system most of such criminals would spend their useful years in prison.

What an awesome comment.
