1. Red burnt bricks have been subjected to high thermal treatment and thus are stronger than sandcrete blocks,
2. they're hollow meaning they're lighter and also they don't easily crack as the sandcrete blocks easily do.
3. They also have good thermal control due to the hollow in them and the materials they're made from.
4. They don't typically require plastering over them as they're easily used in their exposed form for aesthetics purpose.
5. They're cheaper to produce and do not need much mortar compared to sandcrete blocks which requires much quantity of mortar and also plaster.
