The award ceremony which aims to reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage will be hosted in Ghana for the very first time since its inception in 2014.

Nigeria has been the host country since 2014 and Ghana is the host for the awards this year.

Sarkordie posted in his Instagram handle that he is so happy to welcome the giant African artists to his home country.
