Religion And Drug Addiction. Is There A Similarity In Manifestation. by Martinez19(m): 7:46pm On May 27, 2018
Religious folks and drug addicts share certain things in common :

1)DENIAL;
2) RIDICULOUS AND FORCED EXPLANATIONS TO PROTECT THEIR RELIGION/DRUG OF CHOICE.
3) BIAS.
4) OUTRIGHT LIES FOR THE SAKE OF DRUGS AND RELIGION.
5) WHEN HIT BY RELIGION/DRUGS, THEY DEMONSTRATE RIDICULOUS BEHAVIOURS.

Now, I shall take christianity as a case study for religion and weed as a case study for drugs and we shall examine the similarities.

1) DENIAL
Christians will never accept the truth despite the glaring evidences and good arguments raised up against religion. They see no evidence, hear no evidence and speak no evidence.
Potheads despite the cognitive and emotional issues they are facing due to their addiction, they will never admit that weed is a problem and is addictive. Infact they are so defensive when one mentions "pot is addictive."

2) RIDICULOUS AND FORCED EXPLANATIONS TO PROTECT THEIR RELIGION/DRUG OF CHOICE.
When a christian says I prayed but it didn't work, other sheeples responds with the following :
a) "maybe there's a sin in your life"
b) "yahweh has a better plan."
c) "you didn't have faith"
d) "it might not be yahweh's will"
Or the response when a christian says he is an atheist and states his reasons:
a) "you were never a true christian"
b) "you don't truly know the bible"

When a weed smoker says "I was/am addicted to weed" or "I have certain cognitive deficits and emotional problems due to my weed habit", potheads responds with the following:
a) "weed is not addictive, you are just weakminded"
b) "your weed was laced"
c) "weed isn't just for you"

All these, from christians and potheads, if you notice, are presumptious even though they say it with confidence. Indeed, confidence is not intelligence and validity of one's claim.

3) BIAS

Christians will only pay attention to "scientific researches" that shows creationism is true while ignoring real science. They refer, by all means, to cling unto the faulty historical evidence of Jesus.
Potheads know that studies on weed are contradictory and that those bringing the bad side are true, they still ignore them for the positive and forged ones that suit there believes.

.... to be continued.

OUTRIGHT LIES FOR THE SAKE OF DRUGS AND RELIGION.
For christians:
"Before God and man, Jesus healed me of cancer."
" I have see live miracles with my korokoro eyes."
" I have seen yahweh heal an amputee"
For potheads:
" I am a pothead, who smokes everyday for three years, I am top of my class and I get A's."

As for number 5, I don't need to explain much.
