TECNO has launched TECNO Povouir 2 smartphone into the smartphone market. It is an upgrade to TECNO Povouir 1 launched a few months ago.

Headlined by an impressive 5000mAh battery capacity capable of dishing out 96 hours of run time on optimal usage, the phone is go for me. It Al’s features a bezel-less display and of course the trending Face ID feature. Just like the phone name “Povouir” means power in French, the device is truly powerful. TECNO Pouvoir 2 Design and Display


Tecno Povouir sports and all round, unibody metal design, just like that of the Camon X smartphones which is very appealing. Have you seen those edges? it’s a beauty. Tecno really did a number on this device, with those curvy edges and bezel-less design, it’s very alluring.

At the rear, there is a perfectly positioned rear camera and LED flash, both lying in vertical line with the fingerprint scanner located just below still on the same vertical line. It measures 8.5mm in thickness and weighs over 200g, mostly caused by the battery capacity. However, it’s fits perfectly in the hands when operated. Tecno Povouir 2 will be available in 3 colors; City Blue, Midnight Black and Champagne Gold.



Sporting a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display, we are looking at a something with stunning visuals. Made even better with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 269 pixels per inch density, the display is out of the roof. With an aspect ratio of 18:9, it has a 76.3% screen-to-body ratio.

TECNO Pouvoir 2 Hardware and Software
Just like most Tecno smartphones, the Povouir 2 is powered by MediaTek MT6737 chipset, with a quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture all clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology. The ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor offers nice visuals for gaming and graphics requirements. The TECNO Pouvoir 2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box based on Tecno customized HiOS skin.

For optimization and multi-tasking, there is 2GB RAM capacity for that at a memory speed of 733MHz. Storage is handled by 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD  Card.

There is no disappointment in the camera capabilities, sporting a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash for capturing perfect moments even in low light and at night. The front selfie HS an 8MP shooter, also with Led flash too. On a plus note, the front camera also supports Face ID, giving you extra security on your device.
