Makes no sense. If it can't serve as the primary source, then what it simply means is that he is sponsoring the rich kids and not those with the true brilliance that needs adequate funding

With all the money from his oil blocs, he now wants to sponsor 7 students that will majorly be from his aides and those who know somebody that knows somebody....smh undecided

And to think one must have been admitted into Harvard, Stanford and the likes before one can qualify shoes its definitely not for the poor/ those who need it more.

This TY Danjuma guy is wise. He knows that the chances of any Nigerian getting into Ivy league or Top MBA schools is 1 in a 1000. These schools receive over 15,000 application per semester on average, and end up accepting less than 10% on average. That 10% is not only based on the best of the best applicants but also some balance in diversity meaning as long as they all meet minimum requirements. They might take 40% Americans, 5% Africans, 5% Asians, 5% Europeans, 20% Women, 5 - 10% US blacks, and 5% Hispanics, 5% Caribbeans, 2% Australians and New Zealanders, e.t.c. Meaning at the end of the day only 5-7 students will come out of Africa, and maybe 1-2 from Nigeria.

To even get consideration to scale through initial screening, you better have attended...Cambridge, Oxford, Dartmouth, Brown, Columbia, Babson, Emherst college, Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, Harvey Mudd, Rose-Haulman, Reinselear, MIT, Northwestern, Princeton, Yale, Rice, Duke, Emory, Purdue, Cal-Tech, Carnegie Mellon, e.t.c. And if you attended public universities, make sure they are public Ivy league schools if US with names like .... U of penn, U of C-Berkeley, U of Michigan, NYU, UCLA, UC-Davis, USC, Georgia Tech, U of Colorado, U of Chicago, U of Illinios, U of Virginia, Virginia Tech, U of Texas Austin, e.t.c. If you didn't attend any of these, your chances are 1 in 1,000,000.

1. Melo Melo is the only Olamide song with reasonable lyrics.

2. Runtown is a better artist than Davido.

3. Wizkid sang better when he was with EME.

4. Phyno rap is trash.

5. Ninola is a better artist than Simi.

6. Burna Boy is the only artist you can compare with Fela.Iyá Lájè Of Lagos added,

1. Melo Melo was his only non dance themed song that crossed borders.

2. Davido music life is about PR Stunt.

3. Check his #AfroRepublik performance.

4. I understand igbo. Phyno doesn't have rhymes.

5. Follow Niniola from Project Fame, then compare with Simi.

6. OUTSIDE.

I support him though. If I have a scholarship fund it will only cater to students in the top 500 schools globally. Can't use my hard earned wealth to sponsor someone through mediocrity

I think it's a tussle between them and Rose-Haulman. NASA even ignores MIT, Stanford and CAL Tech to go to Harvey Mudd and Rose Haulman to hire to tell you the brilliant minds there.
