Fabinho celebrated his arrival at Liverpool in style - with his wife documenting the day he officially became a Reds player.

The club sealed their first deal of the summer with the signing of the Monaco midfielder, in a deal worth an initial £39.3million – rising to a potential £43.7m with bonuses.

The Brazilian had been tracked by Liverpool for a year before the club sealed a shock swoop on Monday night.

Footage has now emerged of the player both arriving into the city to confirm the move, and then leaving again after the announcement was made.

is wife, Rebeca Tavares, released the video on Instagram.

After saying 'let's go Reds', she asked her husband: "We are landing in Liverpool in a few minutes, how do you feel?"

Fabinho replied: "Too good."

After the signing, Fabinho, Rebeca and their party departed on their plane and toasted the move.

"Congratulations, we are Reds, baby," she said, before posing in a Liverpool kit and kissing the badge.

Liverpool made a surprise early swoop to bring the Brazilian to Merseyside following discussions over the past month, and he will officially join on July 1.
