Chapman In Nigeria - A lot of people don’t know that chapman was originated from Nigeria. It’s another thing we Nigerians should be proud of asides small chops and Jollof rice.
Chapman is widely accepted now, as people from every part of the world love to have a cup or more.

For people that are interested in knowing how to prepare the Nigerian Chapman, this a guide.

Chapman In Nigeria
Ingredients

¼ bottle La Casera drink or sprite

1 small pack Ribena (Black currant)

2-4 tablespoons Campari

2-3 dashes Angostura bitters

8 pieces’ curry leaves or Patmenja leaves

¼ Orange cut in segments

4-6 slices of Cucumber.

Ribena concentrated blackcurrant adds to the red colour and gives the drink a sweetened taste but it is optional.

Even though the Nigerian chapman contains a very small quantity of alcohol, I know there are those who will like to make a version that does not contain any trace of alcohol. If you want to make that, you can skip the Angostura Bitters but be warned, the Nigerian Chapman will not be the same without Angostura Bitters.

Method.

Freeze some of the LA casera or your Ribena in ice -cube trays. They will form iced cubes. You need like 4-6 iced cubes.

Refrigerate the remaining La casera and Ribena.

Cut the cucumber and oranges inti shapes you want. Wash and set aside the curry leaves.

Put in ½ the quantity of fruits and curry leaves at the base.

Pour these on the Campari, La Casera and Ribena.

Add the fruits and curry leaves that remain

End it with the ice cubes and sprinkle on some dash of Angostura bitters.
