Niger state which is also known as the
power state is the home of the country’s
three major hydroelectric power plants
located in Shiroro, Kainji and Jebba with a total
installed capacity of 1,938 megawatts suffers more
in terms of electricity suply despite the huge
amount of money many residents pay to AEDC as
their monthly bill charges.
Bida local government in particular which is faced
with electricity distribution problem billed on high
rate.
A local government that is given only six hours
light per day pay over five thousand Naira per
month for bill. Where are we heading to? who is to
help the poor who are in need?

The AEDC Staffs at bida are supplying kutigi town a Neighboring town to bida 6hrs Light per 2 weeks.

And our Governor and senators, Reps and Useless Members are Daft about this pressing Issue of epileptic Power supply in the State. Yet they still want to go for 2nd Term, And Some unfortunate beings are saying Yes to that. SMH
