Nigeria cannot lose on my birthday. I need us to either win or draw. Go on guys, we can do this. I wonder why Messi becomes so good when playing against Nigeria.

Why are some people foolish and childish like this? Why are they shouting goal when nobody scored? Fools everywhere

I am not a fan of club football so I don't watch club matches seeing Messi and Ronaldo in action. This match is the first time I am seeing Messi in action and I would say he appears a better player than Ronaldo. I am not saying this because Messi scored a goal. Being a good player isn't about scoring goals. I think it has to be more about having good control of the ball and making good judgements in passing the ball around. I feel Messi is a better player than Ronaldo because he possesses better ability to control the ball.

Iheanacho laid down so that his teammates & captain could come & pressure the ref into reviewed what happened with VAR but it didn't happen. Meanwhile still on Iheanacho why is he the one playing our left corner kick? Since when did he become a left footer? Anyway we need changes. Iwobi for Iheanacho. With good support Ahmed Musa alone upfront with Iwobi as false 9 will change the game imo.

majorbravo:

Iheanacho might not be good enough right now but ighalo is definitely not what we need now. Ighalo is a very selfish player and loses possession too easily.

You are right though but Ighalo has mor physical strength and can bully defenders better than Iheanacho.

Re: Nigeria Vs Argentina: World Cup (1 - 2) On 26th June 2018 by nigerianpride: 8:04pm On Jun 26, 2018
The Nigerian players need to push the argentine psychologically, pick balls from throwing, go for tackles, cause fights and disorganise them, argentina is too comfortable on the ball

Do we really deserve being in the World Cup right now?
We should all be at home to morn our dead.
Anyway, I'm happy we already lost.
