We actually don't need it at all. Our boys prayed three times on the pitch yesterday and still lost to a team that didn't bother to pray even once. God is not a partial God, he doesn't influence football games due to prayer rants. The better team with the better tactics will always win and not the most prayerful or religious team.

Nigerians amaze me, God is not biased.. Some teams work hard, while some did not but u expect God to be bias..Remember that the other teams also r praying..A student that worked hard is d favourite to come out successfully than d one that did not work hard. WOW! It seems like Nigerian Pastors are really making a mockery of everything sacred including prayers. In life, just like in everything one does, you must make the efforts and put in the work, and then you add prayers and ask GOD to crown all your hard-work. You can not just kick back and do no work and expect GOD to reward your laziness and lack of effort. The Bible tells us in James 2:17, "That faith alone without works is dead."

Sensible people are working hard and doing the right things. Nigerians are busy praying. Nonsense.
