You may wonder why people don't go to heaven after they are born again. It is not that God cannot take you to heaven immediately after you are born again, but He has something for you to do on the earth. Once you are born again, you are qualified and fit for heaven, but you've got to do certain things here that have been assigned you before you were born. That is why you and I must get involved with the Holy Spirit and the word of God to find out what we are supposed to do so that when we get to heaven, we won't cry.

Sometimes ago, the Lord spoke to my heart that at the end of this race, there are two things waiting for everybody: a crown or a cry. Tears would be wiped from some eyes, and a crown on some people’s heads because they did what He sent them to do. I want you to make up your mind that you will be among the people that God will place a crown on their heads. Make up your mind that you won't be among the people that He will wipe away tears from their eyes – tears of regret, pain, and sorrow – because they did not do what He sent them to do, though they made heaven.

The gift and the calling of God are without repentance. It means they came from God and they are irrevocable. It also implies that a man can end up in hell with the call of God upon his life. I believe that a man must be serious and sober to pursue the call of God upon his life and see that he fulfils it.



PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to run the race of destiny so that at the end of time, I will receive a crown in Jesus’ name. Amen!
