You are complicating things here sir, your analogy doesn't properly apply to both cases.

The Australian have taken up a slot of the Asia teams at the world cup and that is what they represent here. At the end of the tournament, their performance will be ranked with those that came out of the Asia qualifiers to determine the progress of football in that region.

The two Welsh teams that play in premier league are not in the same category as the Australian team taking up the position of Asia at the FIFA world cup.

Is Australia in Asia or Australia?
That is what we are debating here.

That 48 team World Cup is a bad idea ... it dilutes the competition IMHO

It is a joint world cup by 3 countries so to me it still makes sense

Exactly. The only coach that gave some a chance is keshi. and one of the guys who play for sunshine stars then scored the winning goal for us in AFCON 2013.

But the guy was desperate to make 2014 world cup list and accepted a deal with a 2nd division club in France. Keshi still dropped him.

The guy was a defender and he helped solidify our defense then. I can't remember his name

Both of you are correct. we have more than one guy playing in the SE then who made the squad.

Egypt lost dying minutes of the game.
Morocco lost dying minutes of the game.
Saudi Arabia conceded 2 goals dying minutes of the game.
And yesterday Tunisia lost dying minutes of the game.
What is wrong with the Arabs.
Even Pharoah's warriors perished in the last minutes of exodus! Arabs following a certain trend

I get your point but that is the format going forward, so it is still quite a lot of games for a single country hosting in the future.
Anyway, the game is becoming more competitive and so maybe more countries playing may not be so bad after all
