Few weeks ago a self proclaimed ex internet fraudster claimed he made 1.8 billion naira while he was still active, that is (that 5M USD) with that amount in America standard you are a high net worth individual(HNWI).

I am pretty sure the 5M USD was because of weak naira ,of cos the guy will have started the biz when naira was a bit strong say 1 USD equals 160 naira, the amount will look larger than the 5M or just say at least 8M USD tops.

But still some guys are still saying the amount is small compared to some guys they know bla bla , now my question is are those guy really wealthy or the noise is just a sham.

It is not possible to hit big from it. For example if someone succeeds with a car scam in the autos section the highest pay is around 2.5 - 6 million naira. After that it will take even as high as a year before they strike a 'deal' again.
The smaller scams of say 1,500.00 - 25,000.00 have a better chance of clicking; the MTN guy with his over 2 million nairaland accounts is a good example. In total he can't make more than 5 - 10k a day and don't forget it's not everyday his scams hit their target.
