If its true then am not surprised most companies relocated to Ghana as the running cost of diesel is too high.
Even heard Lagos state Secretariat plans to relocate too

sounds fishy though, over 70%! ..when finances that are meant for improved laboratory equipment, modern learning technologies, conducive learning environment and improved library / class room facilities; are budgeted for diesel, then we already know what will be the aftermath of the students. what a failed state!

This is one of the problems with us... Complains without innovative action. A forward thinking VC could have commissioned the faculty of engineering to challenge their students to come up sigh innovative renewable energy solutions. What's the essence of education if you can't use acquired knowledge to solve immediate problems.
These are the same people that we expect to help build the nation when they can't even build a small, love, and private energy source.

That can easily be achieved if Nigeria is restructured. But will the enemies of progress allow restructuring?

VC's statement is an indictment on Lagos DISCOS, by extension electricity generation and distribution in Nigeria

You’re the one lying here.. The power supply in LASU is nothing to write home about. Very bad!

You took the words out of my mouth, LASU is virtually run on generators

Oga VC it is advisable you start genersting your own power in the school..if you borrow a loan from the bank under 3 years period you will ofset it and make profit

A university that cannot develop an alternative power generating system, is that one a university.
Until we start putting priority on solving our problem in Africa, we don't deserve to be humans at all.
