texazzepete: if a poll indicates HTc desire has a better user experience, will u invariably say that the htc is the better phone. As a matter of fact, specs in conjuction with user experience is what is most important. Apple made a breakthrough in d mobile phone industry with the release of the (legendary) iphone in june 07 but since then they've not recorded that success in their other products. Other companies have improved and even outclassed them in some of the features. june 07 iphone , july 08 3g, june 09 3gs, june 10 4g texazzepete: You should be in a better position to list features and functions cos all that i know are already existing features n functions. since the announcements of the 4g Tech enthusaists around the world dont find anything truly unique or overwhelming. pros Design (u cant beat it) Good battery life Apps (bonus) The phone is overprised (we're in iworld ) No Flash (85% of the top 100 websites uses flash) Charges for satnav (too poor) Facetime (doesn't makes sense, the world ve past that) texazz: Must we always jailbreak for for what is obtainable worldwide Does that makes sense cant we be free If we're to go by polls A recent poll in the US indicates that iphones fans are more inclined to get and stick with the android. (where're dollars heading to) True developers are more in love with iphone but surveys by Appcelerator favours the android as the most favored platform for the future. (dollars will definitely shift) http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/techchron/detail?&entry_id=66349 As my guy Jason sums it up "The handset is a triumph of marketing over functionality." |

I'm a little concerned about the fact that the iPhone 4 struggles to make phone calls! Have we lost the plot people? if you're left handed then holding the phone this way blocks the signal! - fact |

Djcn: Almost every single tech blog state in their reviews that the iPhone 4 is the best all round smartphone in the market today. As for the 'overpriced' jibe, the iPhone price is very comparable to other top smartphones around the world. The HTC Desire has been out for a while now, and is 429 pounds. the iPhone 4 has arguably better specs and is 499 unlocked. I don't see the massive price gap. Do you? Please find out how much the HTC HD2 and the Nokia N97 were at launch. |

The most outstanding quality of the iPhone is its stability STABILITY? According to Apple the antenna is wired round the body for utmost signal reception but we have seen that the biggest problem of the iphone is its reception capabilities leading to high drop calls. |

samminyte: Wrong. Reception capabilities of the iPhone are top notch. The reason for some dropped calls in weak signal areas is when the two external antennas are bridged. It doesn't happen to all users and will only be an issue is weak signal areas. The free case included by Apple solves this problem. The OS stability is beyond question. |
