n Saturday the 30th of June 2018, family, friends and well wishers came together at the St. Peter's Catholic Church Mbiabong Anyanya, Oron road in Uyo the capital city of Akwa Ibom State to witness the solemnisation of Holy matrimony between former Miss Edo Ben Umoh and Mr. Nsitie Joshua Samuel.

Delivering the Homily at the event, Rev. Fr. Justin Udom took time to amplify the place of prayer in the home and enjoined the couple to be fervent in prayer, stressing that the Christian walk in general and marriage in particular, had its own set portion of challenges, urging them not to give up in periods of adversity. According to him "perseverance pays".
