Is It Advisable To Go For Customer Service Certification In Nigeria by trities: 5:33pm On Jul 03, 2018
Hello Nlanders,
I've been working in the customer service line for close to 7 years now. I actually wanted to shift career but someone advised that I go for a certification in Customer Service. As far as I believe, anyone can be trained to be a Customer Service Agent, I may be wrong though. I studied sociology so it was easy for me.
Please my question is, is it advisable to go for certification in that field or a waste of time and resources?

No, it is not a waste of time, You have a very good working experience in customer service.While it is a good idea to further your career in Customer Service, I will implore you to go for industry-wide areas where you can transfer your experience into the various aspect of Customer services such as customer managers, customer support specialist, customer success champion, customer technical support. Although these roles may vary base on industries (the IT industry is trending). Here is a list of place where you can learn more about Support and improve your skills as well as industry-specific knowledge.
