Personally i think Maradona is overrated, may be was GOAT before the emergence of Messi and CR7 but what either of these two guys have achieved surpasses whatever Maradona achieved in his days, Maradona has only 12 trophies to his name, Messi has 32 Cr7 has 26. Maradona was not able to win a single UCL title, Messi and Cr7 has 9 UCL titles between themselves, i believe this has cancelled Maradona's exploits at the World cup. All this millennium kids don't know jack abt football...Maradona is a demi-god...from Barcelona Worldcup Napoli to almost winning another cup in the 90.... Sure u have never heard abt this..becoming top scorer as a midfielder it was rare those days |
